The first UWF Book Circle meeting of 2025 will be held on Thursday, January 30, at 1:00 PM in the Cason Library.
Even if you haven’t read the novel, join us for an enlightening discussion of A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II by Sonia Purnell. Nancy Reames will share the story of “the most dangerous of all Allied spies,” according to the Gestapo in 1942.

Our second annual whole-church retreat, Worship Outside the Walls! (WOW!), is finally happening at Warren Willis Camp and Conference Center. We’re currently finalizing the details and will share them with you very soon.
If you were previously registered for WOW! 2024, your registration is still valid, and someone will contact you shortly to confirm your attendance. Our goal is to ensure that all registrations, roommate assignments, schedules, and speakers are securely in place for the best possible experience for everyone.

WESLEY HERITAGE TOUR 2025
There’s still time to join the fun!
Pastor David will be leading a group tour of John Wesley’s history and heritage in England from May 7-16, 2025. Participants will visit the places where the founder of Methodism grew, lived, learned, and ministered. Explore the oldest Methodist building in the world, visit the home of John’s famous hymn-writer brother, Charles, and see the Old Rectory, where Samuel and Susanna Wesley raised their children while Samuel served the parish church for 39 years. Walk on Aldersgate Street, where on May 24, 1738, John Wesley had his “Warming of the Heart” Holy Spirit experience. Interested? See Pastor David for more details.
